Western Power is delivering the network infrastructure needed to achieve the Cook Labor Government's vision for WA as a world-leading renewable energy powerhouse. The network's transmission lines, and the wind and solar farms they will connect, will form one of the largest infrastructure, technology and construction transformations in Western Australia's history.

The network plays an important part in safely and reliably transferring more clean energy generated from wind and solar farms to homes and businesses.

To support the flow of this clean energy, we need to strengthen the network in Perth’s northern suburbs by upgrading existing infrastructure. This will allow us to continue to deliver clean power supply for our daily-lives, and to support WA’s growing housing supply and industry, as well as the employment and economic benefits they will bring now and in the future.
