Western Power is expanding the existing 330kV terminal in Three Springs and building a new 132kV terminal to increase the northern network’s transmission capacity. Site preparation work is expected to commence from late-2025, with construction continuing until 2027.
The terminal will connect to existing transmission lines in the region and facilitate future line conversions to significantly increasing the flow of renewable energy to and from the area.
All construction work will occur within the existing terminal site located along Perenjori-Three Springs Road in the Shire of Three Springs.
