Western Power is expanding its terminal at Regans Ford with a new 330 kV terminal station to increase the northern network’s transmission capacity. Site preparation work is commencing from mid-2025, with construction continuing until 2027.
The terminal station will connect a nearby transmission line, enhancing the power supply to the existing 132kV substation and significantly boosting the flow of renewable energy to and from the area.
The new Regans Terminal will be built on land next to the existing Regans Substation, just off Brand Highway. It will involve upgrading the electrical equipment to support the terminal, and improving access to the site.
