Western Power is building a 132kV terminal station in Eneabba to increase the northern network’s transmission capacity. Site preparation work is commencing from mid-2025, with construction continuing until 2027.

The terminal will connect to existing transmission lines in the region and facilitate future line conversions to significantly increasing the flow of renewable energy to and from the area.

The works involve upgrading the electrical equipment and will be completed within the existing Eneabba terminal, located along Rose Thompson Road in Eneabba, within the Shire of Carnamah.
