The Economic Regulation Authority (ERA) has confirmed that Western Power’s submission for a new zone substation in Baldivis satisfies the regulatory test under the Access Code. We thank everyone who took the time to provide feedback as part of this process.

The project will now progress to the next stage, including development of the business case and assessment under the New Facilities Investment Test (NFIT).

Further engagement with residents and stakeholders will take place during the next phase of the project, as design development for the planned substation continues. More information on timing and engagement opportunities will be shared as the project progresses.
